Client Policies

Cancellation & Changes Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before the service start date to avoid a cancellation fee. Late cancellations will result in only 50% of the service cost being refunded.

If service dates or times change within 24 hours of securing a booking, there is no penalty. Changes after this grace period may result in a convenience fee of 10% of the service cost.

Dog Walking Equipment Policy

For the health and safety of all pups in my care, I require that each be walked using a well-fitting harness, flat collar, martingale collar, or prong collar, along with a non-retractable leash.

I will not walk dogs in front-clip harnesses that cross the chest (H-shaped) or gentle leaders as they can be detrimental to their health. For the same reason, if your pup is a puller, I cannot walk them on a flat collar.

If a suitable harness/collar or leash is not provided, no worries! I will use my own equipment to ensure there is no compromise on safety during walks!

Key Pickup & Return Policy

Clients should provide a discrete location for key pickup and drop-off at their home. If a location is not provided and a separate trip is required solely for key exchange, an $8 fee will apply to account for my time and travel.

Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment for free pick up or drop off at my home.

Parking Policy

In neighborhoods with limited street/guest parking or where a dedicated spot is not provided for me, I allocate 5 minutes to find suitable parking. If parking is not found within this timeframe, the visit timer will begin to ensure I maintain my schedule and prevent delays that could impact subsequent visits. Unfortunately, this will reduce the time spent with your pet, so please arrange parking in advance when possible.

Payments Due Policy

Clients must pay 50% of their service cost up front to secure their booking. Until the deposit is paid, your time and date is not guaranteed and may be booked by others.

If the required 50% deposit is not received prior to the scheduled service date, the appointment will be considered unconfirmed and I will not provide services. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the deposit is paid on time to secure the booking.

Once the service is complete, clients have 1 day from the last day of service to pay the remaining 50% of their service cost. No future services may be booked until the invoice is paid in full.

Weather Policy

If it is 85°F or warmer, I will only provide a 10-15 min potty break walk to avoid risk of heat exhaustion/stroke. The rest of the time will either be spent playing indoors or sitting outside in the shade loving on them.

If it’s sprinkling, I will verify with you if you’d prefer I walk them the full time or just do a quick 10-15 min potty break walk before going inside to play. However, if it is raining to the point of soaking, I will only let them out a moment to pee before returning inside for play.
