My professional pet care journey began in January 2025, but my love and experience with animals stretches back much further. Before founding my business, I was a full-time student and stay-at-home mom following my medical discharge from the military. During my years of service, I was the go-to caretaker for my friend’s pets while they were deployed or underway.
Throughout those years, I was also devoted to my beloved cat, Raynie, who I spent 12 amazing years with before she crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Growing up in a cat family, I developed a deep understanding of feline behavior and care, from nurturing kittens to supporting seniors. As an adult, I spent time TNRing (trap-neuter-release) my neighborhood strays, gaining valuable experience handling feral cats and ensuring their safe transport.
My experience later expanded into the world of dogs when I began volunteering with a local rescue. There, I worked closely with senior and physically disabled pups—each one teaching me patience, empathy, and the beauty of resilience. It’s safe to say I’m now both a cat and dog person through and through! ♡

Leia
Resident couch potato and full-time window watcher, Leia prefers supervising the neighborhood with regal indifference. A true connoisseur of treats and laser pointers, she brings just enough drama to remind us she’s a cat of high standards. Gentle with children, gracious with guests, and not-so-politely uninterested in cohabiting with Skye.
She’s 7 years old.
Skye
Skye is a bashful beauty with selective social skills and a talent for walking into doors with unwavering commitment. She’s not here to impress…unless you’re a catnip toy. While she may initially give the cold shoulder (to, well, everyone), those lucky enough to earn her trust will meet one of the sweetest, softest souls on four paws.
She’s also 7 years old.
Rootin’ Tootin’ Cowgirl Sweet Like Maple Syrup
As clever as she is beautiful, Maple is our resident overachiever currently working toward her AKC Trick Dog Novice title! When she’s not showing off her new tricks, you’ll find her trying to herd her besties at the dog park, just as nature intended…sort of. She is still building a calm confidence around new people (thanks to the help of Neil & Terry) and making incredible progress every day. Follow her journey on IG @bluemerlemaple
